Synopsis
The annual SCI Formulation forum event will bring together the challenges, learnings, and emerging technologies of the tools for designing better formulations across different industries. The event will showcase the trends shaping the future of formulation and discuss challenges in the design, testing and characterisation of formulations from early-stage research to market. How does the future of formulation look? Can distributive technologies and digital transformation replace lab-based scientists? What are the formulation sustainability challenges? If you would like to know answers to these questions join us at the SCI Formulation forum 6th annual event.
Attendees
This event will be of interest to industrialists, academics and students working in the field of formulation science and product design, chemistry, colloids, physical sciences, analysis, pharmaceuticals, food, biological sciences and environmental sciences amongst others.
Conference tracks
The programme covers four sessions:
Session 1 - Innovation in the future
How to foster innovation, and efficiency to meet consumer demands? Are we going to formulate in the space? This session explores trends shaping the future of formulation from personalized medicine to climate-smart solutions.
Session 2 - Modelling and predictive approaches
What happens when traditional formulation approaches meet artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)? This session examines AI/ML technologies for formulation development and manufacturing.
Session 3 - Sustainable formulation
During recent years sustainability became a key concern of the customer market and industry. This session explores opportunities and challenges in formulation with a focus on the environmental, social and economic impact on a sustainable future.
Session 4 - Emerging technologies
Can you imagine the future where the formulation is optimized in real time and production lines run seamlessly? This session discusses new characterization tools for pre-formulation and formulation, the applications of emerging technologies and advancements in manufacturing.
