SCI is pleased to announce that our Honorary President Neil Carson has been awarded on OBE for services to the Chemical Industry in the Queen’s Birthday Honours. Neil has dedicated many years to working in the Chemical Industry, with more than 30 years at Johnson Matthey.
Neil became SCI Honorary President at the 134th AGM on 1 July 2015.
Neil is currently Chairman of TT Electronics and is SID and Chair of Remco at AMEC Foster Wheeler and at Pay Point Plc. He is also the joint Chairman, alongside the Minister of State for Business and Enterprise and Energy, for the Chemistry Growth Partnership.
SCI warmly congratulates Neil on this well deserved honour. We look forward to working with him to rebuild our network and reconnect with Industry in order to continue to foster innovation.
