Synopsis

This event is for early career scientists working in biological, chemical, environmental and other relevant sciences and all those interested in learning about progress and meeting new talent in agrisciences.

  • Hone your career skills

Topics received so far for this event include ecosystem services, insecticide resistance, crop and plant physiology, crop storage and shelf life, molecular biology, crop protection, mathematical modeling and soil science.

Twitter Competition

Young researchers (masters students, PhD students and early post docs) in the field of agriscience are asked to tweet a picture of themselves with their research to @SCIAgrisciences. A selection will be chosen and displayed at the Agrisciences Young Researchers 2015 conference whereby the delegates will vote for the best. The winner will receive a prize of £50.

Posters

PhD students and first post-docs wishing to present a poster (A0: 1189 mm x 841 mm, portrait) at this event should e-mail an abstract of 300 words (max.) indicating title and authors to robin.blake@syngenta.com by Friday 26th June 2015. Topics may be results, reviews or plans and may have already been presented elsewhere. Syngenta is generously sponsoring prizes for posters at this event. Prizes will be awarded, focusing on quality of science and clarity of communication.
