Synopsis
This conference will cover the developments in the analysis and characterisation of the major components of lipids, oils and fats, such as fatty acids and triglycerides, and minor components such as sterols, and the advances in the tools used to generate and interpret whole lipid profiles e.g. lipidomics. The recent developments in the detection of contaminants of oils & fats, such as 3-MCPD esters and Glycidyl esters, will also be presented. Internationally recognised experts will present information on the techniques used to analyse components that are of interest to the lipids, oils & fats industry, food manufacturers & producers and researchers in this field.’
Attendees
This event is aimed at anyone working with oils, fats and lipids including processors, manufacturers, food companies and researchers and will be of particular interest to those involved in the analysis of lipids for QC, regulatory, research and investigative / consultancy purposes.
