Synopsis

In the face of unprecedented global challenges, the necessity for an interdisciplinary approach to sustainability has never been more urgent. SCI’s Where Science Meets Business conference will continue to focus on the theme of ‘Strategic Sustainability’, benefitting from SCI’s unique position at the interface of academia and industry.

The conference will bridge the gap between these sectors and also welcome perspectives from the scientific, industrial, environmental, social science, legal, economic, and ethics communities, fostering an open dialogue that is crucial for innovating the long-standing scientific industrial processes.

Academics leading key sustainability research initiatives will share their insights and breakthroughs. Complementing this, senior executives from SCI’s extensive Corporate Partner Network will provide an industry viewpoint. They will discuss the current state of the chemical industry, the hurdles it faces, and the path forward towards achieving sustainability.
