Synopsis

The Leverhulme Lecture is one of three prestigious endowed lectures in the gift of the Group and the topic this time is “Generating the Future”. This year's lecture will be delivered by Dame Susan Ion, and promises to be both entertaining and informative.

Senior academics, key industrialists from chemical and other scientific companies throughout the North West, and key policy makers in the North West, are being invited to the lecture and dinner.

The evening will also include SCI’s annual prize-giving for students in the North West.

Dame Susan Ion is an expert in nuclear fuels, was Director of BNFL until 2006, is an advisor to governments and is chair of the Fusion Advisory for the Research Council.
