Molecular interactions fundamentally influence all aspects of chemistry. Our knowledge of how molecules behave and are affected by one another allows us to push the boundaries of chemical research, from engaging biological targets through drug design to the creation of novel supramolecular assemblies. Furthering our understanding of these crucial interactions, many computational and physical techniques employed to predict and measure molecular interactions are continuously emerging.
This one day event has been developed to stimulate open discussion about the fundamentals of molecular interactions, as well as application of these principles to advance the fields of drug discovery and supramolecular chemistry. Lectures will be delivered by leading experts, with the aim to provide participants with a solid understanding of the various types of common interaction and their relevance to modern research.09.45 | Registration and refreshments | |
