Synopsis

Enjoy a talk by Barbara Meyer, Curator of Instruments, on the history and restoration of string instruments (covering the scientific aspects of conservation).

This will include some superb examples from the Cremonese maker between 1550 and 1750. The talk will take about an hour or so, after which you are free to explore the rest of the museum (which also has a cafe). This event will start at 1:00pm.
