Synopsis

SCI’s tagline is “where science meets business” and aims to bring scientists from academia and industry together. The regional Scotland Group is particularly keen on supporting Early Career Researchers in their network building and career development. We focus on fun and informal activities to support scientists in their professional development and connect with the public on important scientific topics. We also believe that policy is incredibly important in an ever changing society.

Our AGM is a chance for us to reflect on the year just past and begin planning for activities in 2025. We welcome and encourage input from our community in Scotland and we would love for you to join us in shaping what the Scotland group delivers in the next year.

Attendees

Open to university students, researchers and industrialists across STEM disciplines with an interest in chemical sciences. This regional interest group focuses on activities and priorities in Scotland so it would be preferable if you are based in Scotland or have an interest in attending events in Scotland.
