Young Scientist Competition - North of England Branch

Synopsis

This annual competition is organised by IFST’s North of England Branch and supported by Manchester Metropolitan University and SCI’s Food Group.

Applicants are required to submit an abstract no longer than 150 words on current work or a recently completed project within the areas of food science, food technology or human nutrition, as well as other areas that help our understanding of food (such as sensory science, food safety management, or food consumer behaviour).

Successful applicants will be invited to present and will be judged for content, originality, innovation, industrial applications and effective communication. There will be prizes for Undergraduates/Postgraduates and an audience prize for the best presentation.
