SCI’s Sharon Todd at CIEX 2020

SCI Chief Executive Sharon Todd will be speaking at the 2020 Chemical Innovation Exchange Conference (CIEX), which will take place online on 7–8 October.

Under the theme of Accelerating Innovation Across the Chemical Value Chain, delegates will hear from some of the chemical sector’s leading thinkers and industry players. Companies represented include Dow Chemical and BASF.

Ms Todd will be sharing her expertise on a panel discussion ‘Looking back on the pandemic – Conclusions and learnings for the chemical industry.’ The panel discussion will take place on 7 October at 9:30am (BST).

Ms Todd will discuss SCI’s unique perspective on the events of the last few months and how the chemical sector as a whole has shifted while rising to the task of meeting the many societal challenges the world now faces and seeks solutions to.

‘It is clear that the chemical sector has a pivotal role to play as the world adjusts to a new vision of the future. The much talked about “Green Recovery” will require the collective efforts of the chemical using sector in hand with governments, and wider society, to set the world on a more sustainable and equitable footing,’ Ms Todd commented.
