DSA and Lampitt Nominations 2019 - Submit Your Nomination by 29 March 2019

14 January 2019

SCI has two prestigious Society Awards that are awarded to members who have made a significant contribution to SCI.

The Lampitt Medal commemorates Leslie Lampitt (1887-1957), who worked tirelessly for SCI in many roles throughout his life. The Lampitt Medal provides a means by which SCI can honour members who have given their own gifts of time, leadership, vision and enthusiasm to more than one area of the Society's activities.

The Distinguished Service Award (DSA) was launched in 2001 - the year the United Nations celebrated the International Volunteer. It is given to members of the Society who have contributed significant and sustained service to at least one element (normally a Group) in the SCI structure for ten years or more. The length of service, the offices held and the nature of the contribution will all be taken into account.

Nominations are now open for both awards. Please note that only service to SCI is relevant to these nominations.
