Rideal Travel Bursaries are offered by the Sir Eric Rideal Trust (managed jointly by SCI and the RSC) twice a year to promising academic research workers in the general field of colloid and surface science to attend conferences and/or visit relevant research institutions.
Submit your application by 15 October 2015, using the link below, for your chance to secure a grant of up to £500 to assist with travel, subsistence and conference registration. Awards will be made on a competitive basis and are currently invited from PhD students and postdoctoral researchers attending conferences between 1 January and 30 June 2016.
Please remember to submit your reference letters by the deadline and ensure that you are either an SCI* or RSC Member.
Previous recipients of the Rideal Travel bursary have travelled across the Globe to Europe, America, the Middle East, and even as far as South Korea and New Zealand to attend prestigious international conferences such as the ACS National Meeting and Exposition and the International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy.
