SCI’s Chief Executive Officer, Sharon Todd, is set to appear as Chair of Day Two at CIEX 2019 – The Chemical Innovation Exchange conference organised by the Merlien Institute.
Taking place in Frankfurt, Germany, from 9–10 October, CIEX is created for C-level R&D and Innovation experts from the consumer, industrial and specialty chemical sectors providing a unique platform for participants to learn, exchange ideas, and collaborate.
Delegates and speakers at the event will include chief technology officers, heads of innovation, and other business leaders representing major companies in the chemistry using industries, as well as investors.
Ms Todd will chair the second day of the conference beginning with opening remarks followed by an exciting programme where the main themes to be covered by the speakers are Digitalisation and Product Innovation.
These are topics at the heart of SCI’s mission to translate science into business, with solutions rooted in multidisciplinary industry engagement with governments’ industrial strategies, innovative new products and processes, and cross-industry alignment on strategically important goals.
