Croda is committed to understanding the impact of our products beyond factory gates and taking a proactive role in the transition to a circular economy. In support of this, we collaborated with experts in the field to develop a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool and we are currently embedding LCA expertise across the entire organization. This helps us understand the full impact that our activities and ingredients have on the environment and supports our delivery of innovative, sustainable and high-performance solutions in a circular economy. Our goal is to apply our LCA tool, results and expertise to build partnerships across industry, synchronise efforts and achieve transparency and integrity across whole supply chains on a cradle-to-grave basis.
Antonia completed a PhD in Chemical Oceanography at the University of Edinburgh exploring the nutrient cycling in the Arctic Ocean, in the context of climate change. She joined Croda in 2021 in the role of Group Sustainability Specialist. She is responsible for developing and rolling out frameworks and processes to monitor best practice and drive continual improvement, as Croda works towards achieving its Commitment to be Climate, Land and People Positive by 2030. As part of this, Antonia is utilizing techniques such as Life Cycle Assessment to measure the environmental and social impacts of operations, products and services.
