20 February 2019
Organised by:
SCI’s Liverpool & Northwest Group
Bangor, UK
The event is an informal opportunity for final year students and those starting out in their careers to talk with their peers in industry and academia and hopefully learn something about how careers can progress in the real world.
The evening starts with drinks and networking followed by a number of short presentations given by local industrial and academic links conveying their own experiences of aspirations from their time in full-time education to what they are doing now and how they got there.
The aim is to give an insight on the variety of opportunities there are with science and engineering degrees. This also includes advice on CVs and interviews. The evening finishes with networking between attendees and a number of industrialists / academics over a buffet.
Please be as informal as possible.
