The SCI Liverpool and North West Group annual KickStart event was held this year at Bangor University, in recognition of the continued support that Bangor Chemistry shows in attending all KickStart events.

This event was attended by around 80 final year and PHD students, along with staff, SCI committee members and industrialists. The presentations covered ideas on where your career can lead to, top tips, stories and some information on how to write a good CV.
Presenters were a varied mix covering industrial product development work, teaching, to PHD or not to PHD, nuclear sector and environmental sciences.
The presentations were followed by a buffet and networking, SCI volunteers and industrialists being asked lots of questions!
