Message from the Committee
Amy Newell
Chair
“Feeding the increasing population of our planet is a key challenge facing humanity, and solving it requires integrated thinking and innovative solutions across the entire food supply chain, from agriculture to the consumer.
As a committee, we organise events and training to facilitate networking opportunities and knowledge transfer for and between early-career agricultural and food scientists. This provides the next generation of Agri-Food specialists with the experience that they need to implement synergistic solutions to the challenges to global food security that we all face going forwards.”
