SCI is happy to welcome Johnson Matthey to our Corporate Membership Scheme.

SCI is delighted that Johnson Matthey has joined their Corporate Membership Scheme. SCI and Johnson Matthey share a long history, as company founder, George Matthey, was an SCI member throughout his accomplished career in the chemical industry.
In addition, SCI’s current SCI President, Neil Carson, OBE, was the chief executive of Johnson Matthey from 2004 to 2014. We are happy to have reconnected with Johnson Matthey in this way and we look forward to supporting its new members.
Johnson Matthey has presence on several of SCI’s Committees and works with SCI as part of the Chemistry Council’s Innovation Committee. The company has also supported several SCI events.
As a global leader in sustainable technologies, Johnson Matthey applies cutting-edge science to create solutions with their customers that make a real difference to the world around us. They have been leaders in their field for more than 200 years, applying unrivalled scientific expertise to enable cleaner air, improved health and the more efficient use of our planet's natural resources.
Through continued investment in sound research and development, they are tackling the world’s big challenges into its third century and beyond. Its main R&D focuses are: electric vehicles, recycling rare elements, clean air, and drug discovery and development.
SCI’s Corporate Membership Scheme is open to businesses wishing to support five or more members of their organisation to receive SCI membership and offers a range of benefits. If you would like to talk about SCI Corporate Membership for your organisation, please contact karen.hobbs@soci.org.
