SCI Scotland Regional Group is pleased to announce the winners of its 2014 Undergraduate Prizes. These are offered each year in four of the Scottish Chemistry Departments. Each Department selects the prize winner from its undergraduate class. The category for each prize has been determined by each Department in discussion with the chair of the Scotland Group to complement other prizes already offered. The 2014 winners, who each receive £100, are:
SCI Scotland Prize for Best Final Year Project in Chemistry at the University of Glasgow: Kirsten Hogg
SCI Scotland prize in Analytical Chemistry at Strathclyde University: Jonathan McClung
SCI Scotland prize for Third Year Practical Work in Chemistry at St Andrews University: Daniel Anton Garcia.
SCI Scotland prize in Materials Chemistry at the University of Aberdeen: Tadhg Mahon.
