Ion exchange is a commonly used technique in bio-processing and is a critical step in many downstream processes. This course was intended to provide an overview of ion exchange from the basic principles of ion exchange to the selection and development of an ion exchange step. The course was delivered by highly renowned scientists from academia and industry.
Conference Papers:
- Final programme
- Integration of ion exchange chromatography in downstream processing of proteins, Sylvio Bengio
- Types of ion exchange support: membranes, beads, salt tolerant ion exchange, mixed mode, Juan Martinez
- Types of ion exchange chromatography resins, Andy Masters
- Micro scale-down technologies for high thoughput development of chromatographic separations, Daniel Bracewell
