The Yorkshire and Humber group will host a Careers Options Seminar at Sheffield University on Wednesday 27 November 2013. The aim of the session is to highlight the range of research and non-research careers paths that can be taken.
Anyone is welcome to attend, in particular undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as postdoctoral staff. We will have speakers ranging from the chemical industry to patent law, and they will all be available for an informal chat after the presentations.
The Careers Options Seminar events were a huge success at the Universities of York and Leeds in 2012, and it would be great to repeat that in Sheffield.
