Enhancing your Business with Green Chemistry was a one day meeting held at Kings Manor, York and was organised by SCI’s Yorkshire & the Humber Group and the Green Chemistry Network in conjunction with SCI's Science & Enterprise Group.
The event was followed by the Yorkshire & the Humber Group Awards Dinner, also at Kings Manor, York.
The event presented the work of regional universities, especially York, and included examples of current work in the field of green chemistry and an overview of recent developments. Incorporating a poster competition showcasing current work and featuring case studies from regional businesses showing how they have benefited from the application of green chemistry principles, and information about training opportunities in the field in the region, there were ample networking opportunities for regional businesses and researchers.
